What is the first step in the process of Computer Generated Imagery (or animation)?
The first step in the making of a CGI film is to write a scene, idea and storyboard for it, however the first step in the actual animation process is the layour, where the backgrounds and scenes get digitally rendered. However, this is usually just an outline (or draft) of the final scenes & backgrounds.
